Inauguration of “Creating St. Peter’s” Exhibit
New Haven, December 10, 2003

At the Knights of Columbus museum in New Haven, an extraordinary exhibit which illustrates the constructive history of St. Peter’s Basilica through the centuries.
Extraordinary (2 times) important masterpieces housed by the Fabbrica di San Pietro were transported to the United States, among them the Michelangelian wood model of the dome.
Cardinal Francesco Marchisano, Archpriest of the Vatican Basilica and President of the Fabbrica di San Pietro presided over the opening ceremony.
