 | XXI "Conte Enrico Pietro Galeazzi" Tournament
April 24, 2007 The presentation of the XXI edition of the "Conte Enrico Pietro Galeazzi" Tournament was held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Benedict XV sports center in San Lorenzo.  This year, in addition to the customary "Pulcini" and "Esordienti" categories, a new category, "Piccoli Amici", children born between 1999 and 2000, will be included in the tournament.
Dedicated to Conte Galeazi, representative of the Order in Italy for more than 60 years, this tournament will be held on all the Foundation’s sporting facilities and the majority of the children who use the fields during the year will participate. After the drawing for the rounds, representatives of the Galeazzi family (in picture, Dott.ssa Antonelli and Giulia Demajo, grandaughter and great-grandaughter of Count Galeazzi) presented the coaches of the participating teams with a commemorative plaque. I n the "Esordienti" category, Petriana defeated Testaccio, 3 to 1, while in the "Pulcini", Futbol Club beat S.V.S. Roma, 3 to 1. In the "Piccoli Amici" category, Basilica San Lorenzo prevailed over Vis Nova, 2 to 1. |
