Splendors of Christmas

During the Christmas season, the Knights of Columbus Museum was proud to bring these rare treasures to New Haven.
We are grateful to His Eminence Edmund Cardinal Szoka, President of the Pontifical Commission for the State of Vatican City, for permitting these works of art to cross the ocean to enrich our celebration of Jesus’ birth.
We also thank Dr. Francesco Buranelli, acting general director of the Pontifical Monuments, Museums and Galleries, for collaborating so graciously with us in making the necessary arrangements.
As we admire these precious artworks, which are extensively represented by images and descriptions in this catalog, help us to ponder the true message of the season: May these "Splendors of Christmas" brighten our lives, and bring us into the New Year with joy and peace.
